By 1993 Ferrari had already charted out its next few years of production to include the 355, 456 and Maranello. But, there was still a bit more life left in the iconic, mid-engined Testarossa spin-off, the 348.

Produced from 1993-1994, the 348 Spider saw fewer production numbers than the F40—1,090 vs. 1,315. And, to make things more interesting, the 348 Spider delivered the first truly open top experience to a mid-engined, two seater Ferrari.

Photographed here, our 1994 Ferrari 348 Spider has gone only 16k miles since being delivered new in March of 1994 in California, and has been meticulously maintained since. Wearing nearly its entirely original, single-stage Nero finish, this unique 348 Spider was originally fitted with a Nero leather interior, however, at 10k miles a switch to a partially Tan interior was made. In order retain 100% period & OEM Ferrari material throughout, a 17k mile, Red/Tan donor vehicle was sourced and its Tan interior, tastefully intertwined—all while keeping original factory contrasts in mind.
